I was oddly fascinated by these folks I met in Chicago:
God Bless America
J. Seward Johnson Jr., 2005
25 foot tall ode to American Gothic. You can catch it until October 2010.

Here are 5 things I’ll do next time I’m in Chicago, in no particular order:
1. Visit the Art Institute of Chicago
2. Brunch at M Henry and pancakes at the Bongo Room, which seems to have no Web site but reportedly serves up a fantastic array of pancakes.
3. Go on some sort of Obama tour.
4. Ride a boat on the river
. Not this particular kind of boat… a boat on which I could sun myself from the rooftop.
5. Go to the beach right in the heart of the city. I didn’t know there’s a beach at the end of Michigan Ave., did you? Great fun!
Chicago was nicer this time around. Weather was beautiful; Cub fans were happy. I met some great women who talked more than those two up there.
