I think you could have found a way to take a picture of that art, so your friends could share vicariously, you know? He'd have been flattered...

That chocolate festival Jen mentioned sounds like an event you simply MUST go to...again, not just for your own satisfaction but for your friends' vicarious pleasure back here in a much less exotic (and artistic?) land! Guess I can buy decent chocolate here in Boulder, but a 9-day festival in Perugia? Oh my!

Hmmmm... I remember some of that art quite well. I have something for you to do but first...

I used to live in Valfiorita (sp?) and loved the little store beneath as they always had delicious chocolate for me. The grotto was closed on Sundays (like everything else) so I would stock up on chocolate on Saturday and eat porridge (I had a Brit for a roommate) and chocolate all day Sunday.

Anyhow -- here's an activity right up your alley and a chance to travel. It's the 9 day chocolate festival called Eurochocolate in Perugia (Italy). It runs Oct. 15-23. Yummmmmmmmm!

www.eurochocolate.com

Hope you enjoyed the full harvest moon over Lugano this evening.

Peace,

Jen
