Never thought this would be my Frontline debut

10 Sep 2009

I love PBS and believe that Michael Kirk’s documentaries and Bill Moyers’ shows are some of the most important investigative journalism work of our time.  As a Ph.D. in Media Studies and former professor of media and politics, I think Frontline should be required viewing before voting.  I’ve used their work in courses, written about them for the University of Idaho alumni magazine and here on this blog.

And I never, ever thought this would be my big Frontline debut:

You can see me on the program’s home page next to the not-so-intellectual quote, “I dated six guys in three weeks on two continents.”

The Dating Game, by the way, spread good cheer and hope for true love around the world in 2006 and 2007. At least two marriages arose from it within 18 months.
