An American family I know lives in this house. I love the plant working its way up and over the door. Do you think by summer it will cover the whole front of the house?
This is one of my favorite things in my neighborhood. I am not a novelist, but this drive, the huge trees devouring the statues, the magnificence of it all could inspire a novel. I magine carriages pulling through these gates 150 years ago, what the men and ladies wore, the candles and lanterns burning in the night… I also like this little statue covered by bushes nearby. Once Mufasa barked and barked at it…
